P Diddy, the music star and businessman, has been hospitalized due to severe knee pain that has been bothering him for some time. According to reports, the 55-year-old was transported Thursday evening from the notorious Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn to undergo a medical examination, including an MRI. Sources say the knee problem is related to a previous injury he suffered during the New York City Marathon.
The hospital visit was done at night to avoid rumors and speculation from inmates and prison staff. After the examination, Diddy returned to his cell and did not stay overnight in the hospital. For security and privacy reasons, authorities have not disclosed details about his health or the reasons for his arrest.
P Diddy, arrested on September 16, will remain in custody until his trial scheduled for May 5 of this year.
